What is reported vs modelled here

Reported: everything about the scenes: the objects, the flame, the beam, the 23 helicopters, and the injuries themselves, which are the best-documented part (photographs, admissions, a federal lawsuit's exhibits). Modelled: every dose number: the anchor bands are standard triage arithmetic (IAEA/ICRP consensus values), the source prices are inverse-square and unit conversion. Reading: the radiologist's "could only be ionising radiation", the physician's "about 300 Gy", and LaViolette's microwave: three attributed inferences this bench prices without adopting.

Where this bench takes liberties

The distances and exposure times were never measured; the dials are seeded from the record's geometry and labelled ASSUMED. The gamma channel assumes a bare Co-60 point source, the cheapest honest case: any shielding, softer isotope or beam collimation only raises the bill. The anchor doses are literature midpoints of bands, not sharp lines. The 3D scenes are drawn from testimony: shapes, lights and counts as reported, nothing more. And the bench prices causes one channel at a time; the record is free to be a mixture, which the Texas verdict says out loud.

Why 300 Gy cannot be a diagnosis

One gray is one joule per kilogram of ionizing energy. At 300 Gy whole-body the neurovascular syndrome incapacitates in minutes and kills in hours: it is 67 untreated LD50s. The PMPA #6 patient attended follow-ups for over a year, grew nodules for months, and had a biopsy on the first anniversary. Every dated entry in his own file after day one refutes the number. The course that his file DOES support, prodrome next day, epilation at day 18, marrow drift by week three, is the textbook picture of a few gray, partial-body: two orders of magnitude below the hypothesis.
