What is reported vs measured vs modelled
Reported: the three accounts and everything in them: the sphere, the splash audio, the four entries, the split, the whitewater, the empty search. Measured: the Navy provenance of the Omaha video, the density of sea water, the statute's text. Modelled: the slam, the cavity, the stopping depths, the megawatts: exact arithmetic on stated inputs, live. Reading: whether anything ever truly crossed. This instrument takes no side.
Where this drawing takes liberties
Omaha and Aguadilla happened at night; this sandbox runs in daylight so the interface is visible: the readouts do not care about lighting. The sea is a JONSWAP spectrum, not that night's sea. The object is a plain sphere until a hull model exists. The splash and boil are illustrative sprite work scaled by the physics; the cavity outline is an empirical envelope. The readouts are never stylized : drag, buoyancy, σ and the g-loads follow the formulas exactly.
