Short-lived Pentagon successor to UAPTF (2021-22). Replaced by AARO under FY2022 NDAA.
The 2022 hearing
AOIMSG was the standing office when Ronald Moultrie and the Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence testified before a House subcommittee on 17 May 2022, the first open congressional hearing on the subject in over fifty years. AARO replaced it two months later.
