What he actually contributes
Not general debunking but specific orbital analysis. The objects in shuttle video, Glenn’s Fireflies, the STS-80 Object Sequence and the rest, behave in ways that look anomalous to anyone without a working model of what ice crystals, thruster firings and debris do in the camera’s near field, and Oberg supplies that model. He is also a serious historian of the Soviet space programme and has written on the Ghost Rockets and on Soviet-era sightings from the archives.
Why the node belongs
The wiki carried Philip Klass and Donald Menzel and had no node for the sceptic best known for his objections on the orbital cases. In Plain Sight names him among the debunkers it stages its own material against.
