Or what was thought to be”. Described examining a titanium-alloy fragment at Wright-Patterson AFB that appeared cast by no known process. Dismissed the “ARV Fluxliner” drawing as a hoax. Died 5 April 2020. Ross Coulthart treats him as his strongest first-hand insider on crash retrieval; the account rests on his word.
