Pascagoula Abduction 1973

On the evening of 11 October 1973, shipyard workers Charles Hickson and Calvin Parker reported being taken from a Pascagoula, Mississippi fishing pier by robot-like beings with carrot-shaped protrusions. Left alone in an interview room afterwards, the two were secretly recorded, and the tape caught them frightened and praying, not rehearsing, the detail that keeps the case in the serious literature. Hickson repeated the account under polygraph. A pillar of the classic abduction corpus cited in Closer Encounters.
