British researcher and author whose Above Top Secret: The Worldwide UFO Cover-up (1987) was the first book to print the Majestic 12 Eisenhower briefing document, from a copy he says was made available to him unofficially in early 1987. Its publication pre-empted the joint release the document’s American holders had arranged and forced them public in May 1987. A career-long collector of official papers and first-hand accounts, he is cited across the literature more for the documents he surfaced than for the conclusions he drew from them.
