More than a hundred schoolchildren and teachers reported seeing silvery disc-shaped objects over the school and nearby paddocks; researcher Shane Ryan later logged 122 witnesses. Witnesses describe swift official attention and pressure not to discuss the sighting. Ross Coulthart’s In Plain Sight, where it is a centrepiece of the Australian record, calls it “Australia’s, and one of the world’s, most witnessed unexplained UAP sighting”.
