- Bob Lazar described the Sport Model hull as exhibiting electret behavior (high DC voltage on the skin, corona discharge)
- Charles Buhler reports that in his private Exodus Propulsion Technologies experiments (not NASA work) thrust continues after power disconnect while charge stays trapped in the material, which is electret behavior
