Remote-viewing session of 22 May 1984 at Fort Meade, in which Joe McMoneagle was tasked blind against a sealed envelope containing a set of Martian coordinates and a date roughly a million years in the past.

What the transcript contains

The viewer describes very tall, thin figures, pyramidal structures and obelisks, a group sheltering in chambers, and a civilisation facing the end of its world and attempting to leave. The transcript was released in the CIA CREST declassification and circulates widely; the monitor’s prompts are on the page, and they are leading in places, which a reader should see for themselves.

What it can and cannot be

It is a blind-tasked session, which is the protocol’s strength, and it is a session against a target for which no ground truth exists or can exist, which is its evidential ceiling. Nothing about it can be scored. Jason Reza Jorjani uses it in the Jorjani - Danny Jones Podcast 2025 interview alongside Ingo Swann’s lunar account and John Brandenburg’s isotope work as the deep-time layer of his argument; David Morehouse viewing the Moon and finding nothing is the counterweight that layer usually does without.
