Robot built by iRobot and operated with Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities, which on 17 September 2002 drilled through the limestone slab that Rudolf Gantenbrink’s Upuaut 2 had reached in 1993 at the end of the southern shaft of the Queen’s Chamber, live on television.
What was behind it
A small empty space, and a second, rougher blocking stone. Nothing else. The Djedi Project later put a bendy camera through the same hole and filmed the hidden face of the first slab, showing red ochre masons’ marks and the backs of the two metal fittings, which end in small loops.
The prediction it tested
Christopher Dunn had predicted a vertical supply shaft behind the slab and cables or wires running to the fittings, which he read as the electrodes of a float switch in the hydrogen-generation stage of Giza Power Plant Theory. There was no shaft, no cabling and no fluid staining, and the fittings are staples rather than electrodes. The prediction was dated and checkable, and what was found is not what it described.
