A connected series of sightings recorded in a four-section Department of War briefing document headed “Orbs Launching Orbs”, part of PURSUE Release 01. It describes phenomena witnessed over two days by three two-person teams of federal law-enforcement special agents, six agents by the document’s own count, joined by a seventh for the last encounter; the witnesses are labelled USPER1 through USPER7.
What was reported
- “Orbs Launching Orbs”: orange “orbs” appearing briefly and emitting smaller red “orbs”, seen at least five times from independent vantage points.
- “Large, Fiery Orb”: a hovering orange orb near a rock pinnacle. Witnesses estimated 500 to 600 metres; AARO later assessed it at around 1050 metres and 12 to 18 metres across, correcting the witnesses by roughly a factor of two on range.
- “Dark Kite” and “Transparent Kite”: pre-dawn encounters with a faint kite-shaped object near a road in a restricted zone; one of three agents present saw nothing.
Significance
A strong multi-witness primary record that also shows the limits of eyewitness testimony in plain view, including the documented distance error. It establishes that something was carefully observed, not what the objects were.
