A Detroit resident and Polish former prisoner of war, interviewed by the FBI on 7 November 1957 after he wrote to a White House aide offering information. The interview is recorded in FBI Detroit file 100-DE-26505, released in PURSUE Release 01.
Krasuski told the FBI that during the war, held at Gut Alt Golssen about 30 miles east of Berlin, he had in 1944 watched a large circular vehicle, summarised as 75 to 100 yards across, rise vertically from behind a tall screen at a guarded site, accompanied by a high-pitched whining noise and by engines failing to run. The FBI recorded the account neutrally and made one judgement only, that he showed no sign of mental instability, a finding about the witness, not the craft. The account is single-witness, given thirteen years after the event, with no corroboration.
