American artist and abduction researcher (1931-2011) who did more than anyone to build the modern abduction narrative: Missing Time (1981), Intruders (1987) and Witnessed (1996), the book of the Brooklyn Bridge Abduction 1989. Developed the hybrid breeding-programme interpretation later taken up across the literature, including by Closer Encounters. Worked closely with, and influenced, John E. Mack’s cohort of researchers.
