An alleged group inside the US defence and intelligence community said to read UAP as demonic rather than extraterrestrial. It has no documentary record: no charter, no budget line, no named member on the record, and the accounts of it are second-hand throughout.
Where the claim sits
Imminent describes it as real and does not document it. The book does record a religious current in the surrounding institutions that is documented on its own terms: a DIA deputy director, pseudonymised, telling Luis Elizondo in a corridor that UAP are “deceivers. Demons”; James Lacatski’s own briefings using “words like archangels, angels, demons, and spiritual realm”; and the programme team reading the Book of Enoch and Genesis 6 for parallels.
How to weigh it
The group and the current are separate claims. The current shaped what the programme could get funded and briefed, which is checkable from the account of the people involved.
