Element 115
#material
#element
#super-heavy
Synthetic super-heavy element; named Moscovium (Mc) in 2016. Sits in Group 15 of the periodic table, same column as Bismuth. Both have 5 valence electrons → same bonding geometry.
Lazar’s claim
Named in 1989 by Bob Lazar as the fuel of the Sport Model’s Reactor, 14 years before Element 115 was first synthesised (2003). Lazar specifies a stable isotope, while synthetic Mc has a half-life of milliseconds. Lazar locates the stable isotope on the predicted Island of Stability.
How it works (per Lazar)
- Reactor X-ray shows internal mini-Cyclotron
- Mc target is bombarded → produces gravitational effect
- Stable Mc is theoretical but consistent with island-of-stability predictions made after Lazar named it
