Device reported by Eugene Podkletnov and Giovanni Modanese: a ten-centimetre superconducting cathode disc cooled to 50 to 70 kelvin, discharged across a vacuum gap to a copper anode by Marx bank pulses of 0.5 to 2 megavolts. At two megavolts they report a beam that deflected an 18.5-gram pendulum bob by fourteen centimetres at a range of 150 metres, through a Faraday cage, two and a half centimetres of steel and a thirty-centimetre brick wall, with bobs of every material deflecting equally.
