Jay Stratton’s proposed plan to park nuclear-powered vessels in the Atlantic under hidden sensors and see what came to look, an experiment designed to turn the nuclear-interest pattern into a test rather than an anecdote. The Joint Staff refused it a designation and it was never run.
Why it is worth an entry
It is the only concrete attempt in the record to make the nuclear-lure claim falsifiable. The claim itself runs from Malmstrom AFB 1967 through Rendlesham to the carrier encounters, and it is the pattern the warped-space-time reading in Imminent chapter 16 is offered to explain. The site’s Nuclear Lure bench prices the same clustering against a base rate.
