Three photographs taken by astronauts aboard Space Shuttle Columbia during STS-80 (19 November to 7 December 1996), showing an unidentified object in low-Earth orbit: first off the Earth’s limb, then apparently tumbling about its major axis, then crossing between the orbiter and the Earth. Published as PURSUE Release 04 records NASA-UAP-D030 to D032.

The official captions offer no identification, size or range; the tumbling is noted as consistent with a free-floating object. The stills are distinct from the widely circulated STS-80 video sequences, which NASA attributed to ice and debris near the orbiter.
