PURSUE
The US government programme under which previously classified UAP records are reviewed, declassified and published. Its name stands for the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters. It was established by presidential direction and is coordinated by the Department of War, with records drawn in from the White House, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department of Energy, AARO, NASA and the FBI.
PURSUE is a rolling programme. Its first tranche, PURSUE Release 01, was published at war.gov/ufo on 8 May 2026 and gathers roughly 160 videos, photographs and documents dated from the 1940s to the 2020s. Further releases are expected on a recurring basis.
PURSUE is the channel that makes the documents this site briefs publicly available and traceable to a government source. Every Document Briefing on the site works from a PURSUE record.
