German industrialist and former director general of the Skoda Works, dismissed by Goering in January 1945 after refusing two board nominees. Voss is the sole origin of the Kammlerstab account: in a series of 1949 interviews with the journalist Tom Agoston he described a sealed research organisation run by Hans Kammler inside Skoda, and said that American counter-intelligence, on being told, instructed him never to raise it again. Agoston published the material in 1985. Because every later retelling, The Hunt for Zero Point included, runs back through Voss and Agoston, the chain of custody for this part of the story is one witness deep.
