Two sightings of triangular objects over Colorado Springs, Colorado, in October 2023, released by the FBI in PURSUE Release 05 as two FD-302 witness interviews, FBI-UAP-D026 and FBI-UAP-D030, each paired with an unattributed digital rendering (FBI-UAP-D027 and D031). The two men are unconnected in anything the record shows, were interviewed about two years apart by different agents, and neither form mentions the other.
In D026, interviewed in January 2026, a man on his back porch with his wife at about 10:50 PM saw a low object, possibly as low as 300 feet and roughly the size of a large SUV, pass over the house out of the north-east: a perfect triangle, dark grey or silver, almost see-through, with a haze or distortion around it like looking through mist or at an object underwater, and a band of silverish blue light along its trailing edge. Just before he lost sight of it, its left side banked up to an almost vertical orientation without changing path or elevation. It was silent and gone in four seconds. The file ends mid-sentence, inside a redaction, on his wife’s recollection of a dark seam around the edge.
In D030, interviewed in October 2025, a man at work in a car park between 8 and 9:30 PM saw a stationary dark grey cloud that looked pixelated or otherwise distorted, from which a solid black equilateral triangle emerged with a red light in each corner, possibly as large as the car park and 3 to 5 storeys thick. It moved at a helicopter’s steady pace at 3,000 to 5,000 feet, then almost instantaneously accelerated to what he put as possibly Mach 1 or 2, with waves radiating from it like the mirage over a hot road, banked 90 degrees onto its left side while veering right, and levelled out, all without noise; afterwards the cloud was gone. His wife, called about 60 seconds later, said his voice sounded robotic, as if there was electronic interference.
Both forms withhold file numbers, field offices and the day of every date behind plain black bars with no exemption code, and record no assessment and no follow-up. Neither witness is named, nor the wife or the co-worker. The city’s other PURSUE case, the Colorado Springs Incident 2022 from Release 03, is a separate event; the law enforcement report of an orb in Colorado in the same month, released in Release 06 (Colorado Orb Sighting 2023), names no city, and nothing in either release connects them.
