High-energy light event reported at Haynesville, Louisiana, in 1966, and the subject of the second peer-reviewed paper Jacques Vallee and colleagues placed in Elsevier’s Progress in Aerospace Sciences, published in 2024. The first, in 2022, covered the Council Bluffs and Ubatuba material samples with Garry Nolan and the NASA physicist Larry Lemke.
Why it is filed here
Whatever one concludes about the case, getting this subject through peer review at a mainstream aerospace journal at all is unusual, and the two papers are the clearest example of the route Garry Nolan’s materials work and the SOL Foundation have been trying to open. The Haynesville paper treats the event as a radiated-energy problem with witnesses and physical effects rather than as a sighting to be adjudicated.
