United States Air Force programme for the expedited recovery and delivery of objects of unknown or foreign origin that had fallen to earth, operating from the early 1960s alongside Project Moon Dust, which located and identified them. Recovered items were routed to the Foreign Technology Division at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base for analysis.
Both programmes are documented in State Department and Air Force cables released under the Freedom of Information Act, and their existence was denied in writing before those cables surfaced. That denial, rather than any recovered object, is what makes the pair load-bearing in disclosure argument: a real, named retrieval channel whose existence the government got wrong on the record.
