Unidentified Submerged Objects, or USOs, are the underwater counterpart to UAP: objects observed entering, leaving or moving beneath water. The associated claim is transmedium travel, the idea that a single object can move freely between air and water without an apparent change in performance.
The theme appears in PURSUE in clips and reports of objects associated with the sea surface, and connects to accounts such as the video Luis Elizondo says he has seen of an object moving underwater at between 450 and 550 knots, which Tim Gallaudet has drawn attention to, and the maritime framing of the Tic Tac Incident.
