From Newton's orbits to Einstein's curved spacetime: its bent light, its waves, and the speed limit no ship can cross.

LIVE A ship at full burn crowding up against a vast curved red wall of light speed it can never cross, stars streaking past. Run the 1g burn and watch the years aboard buy less and less speed as the wall crowds closer, or switch to the energy curve climbing to infinity at β=1. Then flip to the warp preset and the wall sweeps past, the loophole that moves space instead of the ship. Gravitational Waves LIGO · INST-15 T1 Established Shake curved spacetime and the curvature itself ripples outward at the speed of light: a wave not through space, but of it. Watch two black holes spiral in and chirp, ride the travelling ripple across a tilted membrane, and see a real LIGO interferometer stretch one arm as the strain trace draws GW150914, with the detector genuinely blind to the cross-polarisation. LIVE The sky at near-light speed: the star field swept forward into a brilliant blue-white disc dead ahead, the Milky Way flung into a golden halo, the sky reddening to black at the edges. Near-Light Speed SR · INST-14 T1 Established Race toward the stars and the whole sky pours forward: aberration sweeps every star to the bow, Doppler shifts the front blue and the rear red, and beaming lights the forward disc like a searchlight. Sit at the centre of the celestial sphere and look around, even behind you, or watch from outside as the stars migrate to the velocity pole, all from exact special relativity. Flip to the warp-bubble preset and the violence vanishes, which is the whole point of the bubble. LIVE A star field around an eclipsed Sun, nearby stars pushed outward, with Einstein and Newton ghost positions shown. Light Bending LENSING · INST-13 T1 Established The 1919 eclipse that chose Einstein over Newton: the Sun's gravity shifts every star near the limb outward by exactly 1.75 arcseconds, twice what Newton allowed. Drag the Sun through a live deflected field under a shader corona, or swing round to watch photons bend across the curved spacetime grid to Earth, with the true and Newton positions drawn alongside. LIVE A black hole bending the light of the sky around its bright accretion disk. Black Hole GR · INST-02 T1 Established Light, bent by gravity, in real time.
